Number one, last night, there was a report that said the New York Mets are going to go to Pete Alonzo and tell him to crap or get off the pot.

We need some movement. If not,

we can't sit here and wait until February and March. We're going to have to make our own pivot.

That was last night. Today, the New York Mets re-signed Jesse Winker to a one-year, $7.5 million contract. And you've got multiple people,

John Heyman, Joel Sherman, Andy Martino, now wording it this way about the Mets and Pete Alonzo.

The Mets think Pete Alonzo is gone. The Mets think it is likelier than not that Pete will go

elsewhere and they're on to plan B.

Now, let me give you my initial reaction, and I already know what you're all going to say.

You're all going to think I'm a delusional bleep.

This is all the negotiation, fellas.
