I'm going to deliver something to you guys and let me just make sure I'm in order here.

That lack of an update really threw me off. So I want to read to you what A.J. Hinch had to say after yesterday's embarrassing loss,

where the Tigers were swept out of Kansas City 8 to 3, 10 to 3 and 8 to 3.

Let me read for you what A. what AJ had to say, okay? Very simple. We stunk and that's not good

enough. This stuff's been going on here before and it's not going to happen here. We had a

chance and I'm not talking about anyone in particular I'm talking about the team,

myself, the coaches and everybody included it's my responsibility to have the team

ready to play today and they weren't ready to play.

Just kidding. That's Jim Leeland, 2006, April 17th, after they embarrassed themselves lost four in a row and it was 12

games into the season. No no now I'll play for you the nonsense we have. Here's

A.J. Hinch yesterday, after getting drilled by the

Royals and launched into space, after losing four games in a row, and after they've

already driven off a cliff in the month of May.

Here's what we get.

What's kind of the you know this is the first time all year you've been three games under

500 this is this was a rough series where you know wasn't competitive like you normally

are. What point are we at here in terms of just get out to the next one or is this a

stop and take a long moment? I take exception to the competitive part.

We were pretty competitive.

Obviously they did an tremendous job offensively of scoring a lot of runs, but

we fought each back each game and stayed competitive.

I think the you know no matter what your record is you got to review kind of what you're doing well what you're not doing well.
