why Dron Payne is back, but don't really agree with it. This from Lenny, man, you have turned

on Duran Payne, your boy. But who else do they have? It makes sense why they brought him back. I thought these were

interesting tweets emails that I opened up this morning and looked at this morning before the show

started because I didn't think that I was that negative about Duran Payne yesterday. I am a

longtime fan of Duran's talent for sure. You know, some of you have made fun of me

over the years, you know, Duran Payne, Duran Payne, you know, he's this, he's that, and yet he's had

one standout year in his career. I think that's actually a little bit unfair. I think some of

the years leading up to 2022, he had good seasons. And certainly as a

younger player, they were seasons in which he was beginning to prove that if he could put it

all together, consistency-wise, that he could be a dominant, you know, a top five-ish, no worse than

top-tenth-tankle, you know, a top five-ish, no worse than top ten-ish defensive tackle.

You know, no worse than top third in the league, but really top quarter of the league in defensive tackle, interior defensive linemen.

I thought that, you know, leading up to 2022, I remember the arguments about should they or shouldn't they.

You know, trade him before 2022.

And I said, no, you got to give it one last shot.

And then he bawled out.

I mean, the year before in 2021, he was pretty good.

The issues were always what they were before the one season.
