Ned, who wrote me yesterday saying about my, you know, persistent ask for everybody to watch the NBA playoffs, even non-NBA playoff fans, I think he said something to the effect of, you know, how about, you know, starting what you used to preach, which is underprom and over deliver, instead of overpromising and under delivering, which I've done, admittedly, when it comes to the NBA playoffs this time of year, and it's been four or five years running.

And I think I've felt the pressure to do that because I have this feeling that many people

that listen to this show, and many of my friends just are off the NBA, and they've been

off the NBA, and I'm like, it's fine to be off the NBA's regular season. But if you're a

sports fan and you like drama, the NBA playoffs are near the top of the list. Well, not after

weekend number one in which nine, uh, eight, I'm sorry, seven of the eight, seven of the eight game

ones were double digit blowouts. And the eighth game was a nine point difference. Uh, well,

last night, things changed.

And, oh, by the way, if you were wondering why the team decided to move C.J. McCollum

for an injured player in Trey Young, we've seen the reason for it.

C.J. McCollum was playing really well for the Wizards before he got traded.

I mean, he had a couple of games, you know, on his way out that actually helped the

Wizards win four of the last five games and six of the last eight that he played in Washington.

Like the Wizards were rolling with C.J. McCollum playing at a really high level.

He was shooting like 50% from the floor for the Wizards before they traded him to Atlanta for Tray Young.
