Oh, well, Cole, it's great to have you on. I got some, there's going to be some surprises throughout this interview that might make you laugh a little bit if you have a good memory.

But my first question to you, and I think I could speak to most Cub fans, is, you know, how would you rate this off season?

High expectations, the Otani murmurs, all these big time guys. And how do you feel about

the guys that they got? Do you think this team got better? I think they did. I mean, I think just

bringing Cody Bellinger back, you know, first and foremost makes this team just that much more of a

threat. I don't know about you guys, but I was, I was never team Shohei Otani. I mean, what it would have done marketing-wise would have been fantastic.

But, I mean, you look at the King's Ransom that he demanded.

And I mean, you can get multiple players with that.

And I think that's one of the things that Jed and Carter have expressed, you know,

all along during their tenure in the front office, smart spending.
