Tonight breaking news on a historic day three American prisoners

including Paul Wielen and Evan Gerschkovich soon to be reunited with their families

part of a multi-country swamp with Russia involving two dozen prisoners the biggest

deal of its kind since the Cold War. Wielen and Gerschkovich and another

American journalist detained by Russia taking off from Turkey, heading to the United States, smiles all around

on the plane.

Their families speaking to them from the Oval Office with President Biden, the President

calling it a feat of diplomacy diplomacy and thanking America's allies who

helped make it all possible. Gerskovich, the Wall Street Journal reporter, detained

for nearly a year and a half, recently convicted of spying and what the U.S. called a sham trial,

jubilation in his newsroom today.
