It debuted on November 21st, 2003, just in time for a Hanukkah season.

And yes, again, this is a Jewish sports movie, not the largest of subsets of films in this genre.

One that does immediately come to mind is school ties, but let's be honest, there aren't a lot of Hanukkah movies either. Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights is probably the most popular of a few, but let's put full court miracle very high on that list now because it is a very short list. It was filmed in Toronto, our decomm destination to the north. No surprise there. Sabrina, are you a basketball fan?
