I had to record this episode as I field way too many questions about what this means for the team and the answer is absolutely nothing. The whole motto of the Yankees offseason has been maintaining status quo even though they were drummed out of the playoffs when they had a ceiling year and beyond from Aaron Judge. I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the situation is far more depressing than most fans realize.
