but we gotta talk some baseball before we get into the NFL

Obviously last night the and I don't want to say unthinkable because we've seen the Dodgers stubbed their toe multiple times in the divisional round so it shouldn't come as a shocker

but it is one of the most embarrassing losses because they had owned the Padres the entire season.

They had a 22 game lead in the NL West.

They won the season series. I believe it was either 14 to 5 or even a wider margin.

Like this matchup was not supposed to be close and guess what it wasn't

close because the Padres one and four you know you could say that it was because of injuries this any other but the Dodgers

just flat out came out flat for this series against a team that they have beaten like a drum for the last three years.

Because it's not like the Dodgers dominated the series just this year.

They dominated the last year, and they dominated the year before.

Ever since Manne Machado's been on the Padres, the Dodgers have still owned the Dodgers.

It's just been the way the series is gone.

So the fact that the Dodgers couldn't show up for a five-game series against the Padres, you know, got to begs the question, were they looking

past the Padres? Were they just not remotely engaged? Because you could cite injuries and yes the bullpen was injured for

the Dodgers but it doesn't excuse Dave Roberts misusing the bullpen throughout

the year citing the analytics and why it made sense for certain

guys to go out, thus burning out arms like Blake Trionen and Craig Kimbrough before the
