All right folks, let's get right down to it.

We have the Premier League coming back into our lives again for another year and

it's been pretty much just kind of looking at how much has changed.

It's how little has changed in my opinion.

The truth of the matter is that I looked at the Premier League last year as more of an

aberration of how shallow the quality of play was amongst the teams.

Because it seems to be that from the mid-tier to the bottom teams, I just thought the Premier League

was weak last year.

And truth be told, I don't really see that much of an improvement year over year to change that assessment.

Whether you could say it's burnout from the pandemic, too many games played, not enough practice time because they're worried

about guys falling off. The quality was noticeable, not just in the Premier League.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing the Premier League itself.

I'm bashing just soccer in general.

The quality of play and, know again this is happening a couple

of other sports because this is one of the few plays where you can actually track

individual performances.
