Got quite a bit to talk about obviously we had the first wild card game between the

Red Sox and Yankees go down last night Red Sox a prevailing 62 to 2 over the Yankees, right under the 8 and a half scoreline, mind you,

winner, but at the end of the day we got to go back to what I talked about.

And it's the fact that these offenses were struggling mightily and are swinging at bad pitches.

But when you break it down, the Yankees did not get to start from Garrett Cole.

Cole, clearly laboring, you know, you have the hamstring issues down the stretch, but you saw this in a couple

of starts down the stretch in it, most notably in Toronto, where he couldn't locate his fastball and

he couldn't locate his slider.

And it's obvious where you're looking at it,

you know, why are we going through

change-ups in the middle of a pitch sequence when you've already thrown breaking pitch, like none of the things that are going on with the Yankees make any sense if you're actually looking at a game plan of how to attack hitters at this point. So yeah everyone's gonna scapegoat coal and cold in

and pitch well obviously but this is more of a systemic issue with the Yankees and we've seen this multiple

instances where you bring in a free agent and then all of a sudden they start pitching

worse when they go play for the Yankees and I've said this before and I will

say this again the organization operates on a broken and outdated model it comes

the same with the hitters it goes to in pictures and then you try to change them to fit the Yankee mold of what they want to do, which is they want to throw a ton of sliders. They love throwing sliders, which is part of the reason why they
