It is week 17.

I hope none of you are still playing fantasy football

because if you do have league championships

riding on this week, shame on you

because you got multiple teams resting players, you got COVID taking

out the entire Saints back field.

We've got a lot of mess to unpack here and the simple thing I'm going to say here for week 17

is that we have a number of teams with very little to play for and not much incentive other

than performance bonuses in their contracts.

Because again, with this new wild card scenario where only one team gets to buy,

wild card weekend gets expanded by having an extra playoff game in each conference.

So next week we're going to have six playoff games.

The wildest weekend of the NFL season just got a little bit wilder, but that's the

reality of the situation. We only got two teams with buys. And we only know one of them right

now, and that's the chiefs. The NFC buy hasn't been determined yet.

It could go to the Packers but it go to a couple other teams.
