Quite a bit that went on today on this Sunday evening. Basically we had the US Open come to a

conclusion finally after what amounted to a no less than a terrible torture film in the third round of

the open with the wind gust being up to 19 miles per hour and just completely destroying that shinnacock golf course.

It was a joke of a tournament to be honest.

And the fact that they had to overwater the greens on Saturday night to make it relatively

playable today only led to someone actually shooting at 63 being Tommy Fleetwood.

Oh, who by the way still leads the PGA in driving.

So this did end up turning into a driving contest after all which you know people are going to complain about but again

they wouldn't have had to make the green so soft if they just halted play on

Saturday and just resumed it on Sunday. But the reason why the US GA didn't want to do that is, A, they want to make the players suffer because in their twisted minds, this is somehow a humbling process when the

course is absolutely unplayable and B they also don't want to take off Fox because Fox paid for the television rights.
