We all about Lost Hall's podcast this episode 237. I'm joined tonight by Val Heffinger. Paul Murphy. What's going on, man? How you doing? Doing great. Thanks. This is great to be back. It's been a little while, man. How you've been keeping? Pretty good. I assume that's some kind of like Canadian catchphrase that you ask people how they've been doing. You've caught me off guard. What are you talking about? You've been keeping. How you've been keeping? How you been doing? Yeah. I don't know. I got actually I threw people off down south. I said, what are you saying? Which I think is a bit of a Toronto thing. Okay. And what are you saying? And apparently they don't know what that means it It means what are you up to? In the back half of this show, I'm going to do a spot with Sean Naden talking about the ATC. We are veterans of the ATC and it's kind of just fun to talk about leading up to things in the camaraderie of that tournament. I thought, well, why don't we do like a whole episode just on tournaments and things? I know you're preparing for tournaments. I'm preparing for tournaments. Heck, I'm going to be running a tournament here,

the Louisville Slugger coming up June 9th and 10th. This is Heroes Comics and Gaming in Louisville, if the name didn't give it away. Louisville? Yeah, I mean, it's a great town. There's tons of things right around there. It's at a game store, but there are some hotels really close by, a couple that are only a couple of minutes away. And I mean, like three minutes away. Nice properties like Hildens and stuff. And putting together a flyer right now that gives some suggestions if you are having to be on the little cash strap side. Not too bad. Some alternate arrangements. Maybe a few Airbnbs. I know I'll be staying in an Airbnb on my Warhammer World Tour later this summer. Very cool. Thinking about putting together kind of like a social activity on Friday night. We actually don't get started until about 10 a.m. I'm sorry, noon on the 9th. Noon on the 9th. So it's gonna be like Vegas tournament starts at noon. So we're gonna try to party it up that Friday night.

Tournament starts at noon. When does the tournament end? That night it will be fairly late.

Talking about 10 o'clock range. Oh my. what why such a why such a late start you

it's in the store this is what the store does and you know they're they're

kind enough to host and so I think you know that's not actually actually not a bad

thing I don't mind not getting up at the you know the crack of dawn to play in a

tournament hey man you're getting up or staying either getting up early or staying up late, you know, either way. Yeah. You're playing Warhammer. It's going to be a lot of fun. Yeah, we're going to try to play into that on the, um, for Friday night and have some kind of activity. You know, we like to party it with FtN. Yep. Yep. How many people are they prepping for? Well, we got

space for 64. Not bad. Yeah. So I mean, I guess I think we're about a halfway there right now

with registrations. Down in Louisville. About a month away. Yeah. 40K is blowing up my man. Yeah.

I mean, yeah, they got a real thriving scene the Berber brothers the

guys that are helping us put it on with us there part of a larger tournament network as well

leading up to tickets to jink like one of the prizes is going to be a ticket to the 40k event at

jinkan oh yeah well I mean I'm just looking at a map right now you got got Nashville. I mean, you know, that was the home of GW for a while, was it not? Memphis. Anyway, Nashville, Tennessee, clearly 40K playing community. You got Indianapolis right down the road, Cincinnati, St. Louis. Lots of places that are just a quick two, three hour drive in yeah I think I think I think it's

gonna be a it's right there in a good area good folks around that area I think it's

gonna be an absolute fabulous time wrote brand new missions for the for the tournament

okay that I think kind of play into the play style of folks in that area but I mean to make it you're comfortable and familiar I guess and also if you're new to the play style of folks in that area. But to make it comfortable and familiar, I guess.

And also, if you're new to the tournament scene, I think these missions are very approachable.
