This is a special episode of Forge the Narrative where I talked to Reese Robbins from Frontline Gaming, Val Heffinger, one of the champions of Wars on Atlanta, and Zach Becker from the London Grand Tournament. This episode is focused specifically on getting ready for tournaments as an organizer and as a player, where we try to get kind of in the mindset of things as people start to maybe start building their list for some of these larger events

My name is Paul Murphy, your host. I'm joined today by Reese Robbins. Hey, hey. Reese, man, thanks for joining me. Of course, man. It's always a pleasure to come on the show, buddy. I am very excited to say that I'm going to the LVO and this will be my first time.

And it's about time. It is about time, man. I mean, but eighth edition, let's just talk about how electrifying this edition is, getting people out to the tournaments and droves. We've never seen the game this popular ever. And we know this not only anecdotally just through observation,

but we know from conversations with GW too, it's like they, the product is selling so quickly,

it's hard to keep up with demand. The LVO attendance is up 25% year over year, which is nuts

at this stage of our growth. That's crazy.

Holy crap. Glad I got my ticket. I am booked. Yeah, we are almost sold out on the 40K events.

I'm glad you did. I think we're down to like 30 for the 40K champs, which that may sound like a lot,

but we're at like 470 something for the 40K

championships event. So it's pretty big. The narrative is sold out at 100. I'm sorry, we had a drop.

I think we have one ticket left. If you hear this jump in and check, because you might be able

snag it. It's sold it out in like hours., those tickets are pretty rare. The friendlies at 64. Um, that one sold out. The doubles is it like 84. The Sunday RTT is it like 160. Is that registered? That's people that are registered paid already. Like bought their tickets planning on coming.

The night joust is at like 40.

It's insane.

God, that's going to look impressive.

Yeah.

By my estimation, on Saturday peak time, we will have between 6 and 700 unique 40K players in the

same room at the same time.

Man.

It's nuts.
