Hey everybody, welcome to Forge and Narrative.

My name is Paul Murphy.

Your host, this is a very special 200th episode, and we have two codexes to go over. And when I say go over, you know it's going to be impossible to do it in an hour. And you just got to let us fanboy over this stuff right now and tell you about some of the new things and the stuff that you can expect when you get them in your hands. you know i think people were at least genuinely happy with some of the stuff in the index

especially things like dreadnights.

And now there's going to be the opportunity to take a grandmaster in a dread night.

Now, that's not new.

That was, I think that's been spoiled on the internet for a little bit now.

But it's still a very, very neat option.

I love the idea of a grandmaster in a dread night because it feels like the the person who would do the

most damage should have the best rig. You know what I'm saying? You know, it was step one when

Gilliman came out of the, you know, his coffin or whatever, it's like, find me something I can

ride in. So were I a grandmaster of the Grey Knights, I would be the first thing I also

commandeered is, hey, give me one of those things. Well, it just, it makes sense. Give your best guy the best gear and, you know, let him do the best work. So I'm pretty happy about it. Is he, is he an HQ? I'm assuming he's going to be an HQ. He's an master in a neis dread night is 190 points. This is not including Wargear. He's 190 points base. A regular dread knight is 130 points base. He does have the 2 plus save. He's got 12 wounds. Strength 6, toughness 6, a movement of 8. He does have the Dreadnight teleporter.

I mean, there's, he's got all the Dreadnight stuff.

Plus he's got a grandmaster.

Now, the 12 wounds is the part that makes it kind of interesting for me because you at that point have now crossed that threshold of can I get sniped by eight Las Canons?

He does have a 4 plus invulnerable save. Annie, he got a Blisicill 2, Weaponskill 2 plus, 5 attacks, plus you can take all the Dreadnoughts special weapon for him. How about the Psycheek Powers? Can he cast more Psycuit powers than a regular Dreadnought? He can manifest two psychic powers in each phase. Does he have rights of banishment or not? He does have, well, sorry, it's a good question. He does have rights of banishment. I wanted to see some full-on smite action there, but hey, we'll take you. You're going to get some full-on smite action. There's plenty of smite manipulation here in this book. You could say that Paul Murphy is smitten. There's something very satisfying.

You know, I didn't know if a smite in general was going to be,

just kind of become, I don't know, too common the fact that everyone can get it. But there's a certain amount of satisfaction of smiting someone into the ground.
