David, thanks for joining us. Oh, my pleasure. Now, we're, of course, familiar with some of your blood angel work. I mean, you've got, it's like a whole host of that, but there's a bunch of other things that you've written, short stories and novels combined for the Black Library. So we're real happy to talk with you.

Chris, how you doing today? Oh, you know, I'm doing fantastic. You know, as you guys will hear during the course of this interview, he is just a big fountain of knowledge for just a lot of sci-fi and all that in general. If you go on Twitter and follow David,

Well, something we just discovered

that you have a background in a lot of horror.

There's horror genre.

Yeah, it's been my first love as a creator.

I mean, well, going back to my earliest childhood, the things I was drawing or early

attempts at writing were, well, I guess horror and SF, but the horror certainly became

the obsession. It's what I did my doctorate in. And so I've

seen myself as a horror writer first. And this is true even when, though my first published

novels were thrillers, the Jen Blaylock series for Turnstone Press, I still felt that
