This is episode two of our new show here on Warchant TV, here with Jacob Ridenauer, the star of the show,

former college basketball assistant coach of Florida State, Auburn, a longtime basketball expert who now does TV work for the ACC network and on the Seminole Sports Radio Network as well.

And we got a couple big, huge games this week to talk about Florida State this past week.

They got a win Wednesday night against Cal at home, which was a really nice win down the stretch.

Florida State wins at 63 to 61.

Lost kind of a heartbreaker over the weekend at SMU at a game that you were actually out

there in Dallas calling the game, Jacob, and had some travel plane, trains and automobiles

to get back home. We could talk about that in a minute. But how's it going, man? How are things going?

Hey, it's good, man. I'm kind of glad to be back in Florida. Even though it's kind of cool here,

it was definitely was very cold out in Dallas.

But, and the Knowles heating it up here in the midweek.

Yeah, yeah, man.

Listen, it wasn't maybe the most aesthetically pleasing game.

In the post-game press conference, Luke Loutk said, you know,

it kind of made a reference to Leonard Hamilton and said, you know, if I knew I was going to win a game, if it was a race to 63, like the old

coach Ham games early, early in his tenure, he would have, he wouldn't have believed it.

But they did it, man, they found a way. And I thought one thing that was cool, and we'll talk

about that game here in a second, but one thing that I thought was really cool that Luke said in his postgame press conference was, you know, he was asked about the style of play. And now they've won a couple games in the 60s. You know, they went over Miami was, you know, similar fashion as well. And he said, he's like, guys, you know, I'm not an idiot. You know, I could, if it's not working, you know, what he wants to do offensively, you know, the style of play he wants to play with, you know, has not worked and had not been successful. And he's like, so we're going to figure out whatever we have to do to try to win basketball games. I thought that was, it's cool for him to say that. But it's also like challenging for coaches, right?

Because sometimes you have an idea of what you think your team is going to be.

And then sometimes you have to pivot during the course of a season. And it feels like they've done that.

And I think it speaks to what Luke and his staff are doing.
