mark in the United States of America. Florida State has eclipsed the 21 point mark for the first time

this season. The Knowles have 41 points. It was an ugly start. I was cursing and saying bad words

in the first quarter, but just take it for what it is,

folks. Florida State is going to double their win total today. Welcome, Gene. How's it going?

It's going pretty well. That intro, you may wonder why sometimes we do the countdown and sometimes

we pay the war champ montage because it's such a feel-good thing when you're losing, getting blown out

by the likes of BC and North

Carolina and SMU. It doesn't really feel appropriate to play that. But it always puts a smile on

my face. And then at the end, of course, the last couple of clips, you got DJ and you got Alex

Atkins and it kind of floods back. Okay, but still 2024. But yes, you get your second win. We knew it was coming. I mean, this is an awful team.

You knew FSU was awful, but this is like the worst team in the major leagues versus the

worst team in the minor leagues. So you're just seeing that. There is a huge difference in talent.

But it's good to see. They got the win. It looks like they'll probably cover the spread.

So good for them. Here it is.

One question about the final result. The only one that's left is does Florida State get a shutout?

A spike baseball in the hand of Randy Shannon? Could it be? That's how they play in? How funky is that?

How do you feel about that, Gene? I guess it's a good going away president for Randy. I think that would be nice. I'm wondering, I know Chip's retired, sort of, but I mean, will Chip come out of retirement for that?
