of the podcast yep I had a a dream. We're recording this like at 7.30 on Saturday morning. I woke up at 5.30. I'm not lying. I kid you not. I was having a like running monologue in my mind of the

podcast and what I was going to ask you and in the dream like you weren't or

the semi dream like you weren't responding back to me in a very like positive way we weren't getting our

pointer cross very well so hopefully that's not foreshadowing I wasn't

dreaming of you. Well, that's kind of weird.

So let's just get this going.

Okay, so, and I also dropped that Al Golden was a candidate.

So for today's episode, we're doing this kind of randomly.

We weren't planning to do it on a Saturday.

But Josh got a little scoop yesterday evening. He wanted to use his platform to kind of vet it and go over it somewhat.

I will qualify it by saying it's not huge breaking news, but as we try to understand

FSU's coaching search and narrow down the targets and deal with what we believe

is a lot of smoke screens, misinformation, try to confirm things. We've put out names this week.

I think it's helpful to work backwards and kind of cross guys off the list, is exactly what Josh has for us and it's

important so Josh I will hand this over to you I will stop rambling and and drop the scoop for us

I'm just waiting for my turn man thank you just go for it sorry I can confirm that Florida state

officials met with Kentucky head coach Mark stoops last week took place in

Cincinnati Ohio I was told stoops interviewed for FSU's head coaching position but he was

not all for the job and I can tell you right now I do not expect FSU officials

to meet with Stoop's again. Although I'm told he feels the

interview went well, a week later, this is something that was just brought to my attention, a week later, Stoups is now telling people around him that he does not consider himself a candidate for Florida State's coaching job.
