All right, what's up, everyone?

It's time for another edition of K time. The second one in like four days. But we did what? We did a special one on Friday when Chris got back from his awesome vacation. And now it's Monday. He just got back from a dentist appointment. So everything's going great for Chavez. And yeah, it was a really good weekend, I thought. Overall, Chris, maybe not really good, but a good weekend, what we wanted. What did you like? Just quick overview before we get into the nitty-gritty. Florida State wins two out of three against Clemson. RPI is still strong at seven. If they win at least one of the games this weekend, I'm pretty sure they're going to get a four seed in the ACC tournament, which means a double buy.

A lot of stuff still at play, and obviously it's Miami.

But going on the road and winning two out of three, what did you like from what you saw from this team?

Just for a quick one, I'll say starting pitching.

All three starting pitchers looked really good, had

commanded their stuff, you know, really filled up the strike zone and set the tone. All of them.

You had two of them got six innings and Beard got five and a third. And you look at it.

So I thought more could have kept going. I thought more was was really good. I don't know if it was

just kind of, you know, I know you had the aside thing and wanted to take it easier. thought more could have kept going. I thought more was really good. I don't know if it was a,

But yeah, let's start. Let's just start with Friday. You get out to a nice lead, as you did in every game,

but it's so refreshing, not refreshing, that's not the right word. You feel so much better when it's Mendez, right? When Mendez, when you get a guy like Mendez, the lead, I know he gave up some runs, which I mean, it's college baseball you're going to, but he had 10 Ks and six innings, I think it was six innings. What did you like from what you saw from West? Did it just looked like normal West? Do you look like you handled the environment just fine? Well, he handled the environment fine. It was definitely not normal West. If anything, you might have had his C plus stuff. I mean, his velocity was down a lot, but it just shows you how good of a pitcher he is, even when he doesn't have his A stuff, how well he can pitch,

keep his team in the game, and do what he needs to do to get his team a win. I mean, I thought it was outstanding just to show his competitiveness with, like I said, his C plus to B minus stuff. And then, you know, that one got a little dicey, as they always do at Clemson. They got a little dice. they They end up bringing in the, they have the tying run at the plate in the bottom of the ninth inning, and you're on

your third pitcher of the inning because Abraham went down. When that ball left that bat,

I wasn't there. I was watching the game on TV. When the ball left the bat and the way the

cameraman tracked the ball, I'm like, they just hit a grand slam to tie the game. Of course they did.

Dow runs it down on the hill. What a sigh of relief for that baseball team, right? Because the last

time they went up there two years ago, Chris, they blew two huge leads. Yes. And that goofy part

plays that stupid music. And they just kind of feed off it. So getting that first win, how pivotal was that for the whole weekend? And not blowing a lead with your ace on the mound. Yeah, I mean, I think it sets the tone definitely. And we talked about it. You know, they needed to do that game one. And they did it because they needed to go in there and win two out of three. They needed to win that series. So winning that first game definitely set the tone. And like you said, finding guys to come in and get the job that when Abraham went down, you just hope that Abraham's injury is nothing that's going to be long term. And maybe, you know, maybe he can pitch against Miami or maybe they just rest him during Miami and have him ready for postseason. Let's stay on Abraham. As everyone knows, he's been, you know, one of, may, D1 baseball, I think had him as the best reliever in the country. Number one. Right now. I mean, he's pitched like it. He's been unbelievable. What? So Link said after the game, he's like, he'll be okay. It's a side thing, not an arm thing.

But the way he said he'll be okay, I don't know if I believe he's just right as rain right now.

What is going on? Because Moore had something like that too. Is it, is it an oblique?
