It is Friday and I am not going to be thoughtful anymore.

I am not going to dedicate any more of my gray matter to understanding problems

for trying to fix them.

I'm only going to enjoy kicking off this fine weekend by finding some funny headlines and discussing them with some very funny friends and very very happy to have them on today.

Returning to the program is Travis Irvine, a stand-up comedian filmmaker and former gubernatorial candidate in Ohio.

Did I get the right, Travis?

Absolutely, I got 2% of the vote, so I'm technically governor of 2% of Ohio.

That's I believe that is how the law works.

And for the first time on the program I am thrilled to have on Mike Larson.

Mike Larson is a former writer for Drew Carey, former writer for Bill Time, or excuse me,

real time with Bill Maher and also was very gracious to me when I started my

stand up comedy career because we worked across the hall from each other in Congress and I went over and Mike was nice enough to give me advice and so both my success and massive failure I attribute incredibly to Mike Larson.

Well, thank you know Andrew just the other day I found the article I think it was in the hill

about me being a comic and working on Capitol Hill and I think that's what you saw and then I think you're an intern at the time.

Yeah, that's right. Yeah, I was intern for the hall and said, hey, I just read this about you.

That is exactly right. I just kind of schlept over and was like, I heard you're funny. Is that correct?

Which was really nice because like me being just at the time an intern from Oklahoma whose entire experience with comedy had been all but

all but plagiarizing Dave Berry articles for the school newspaper like that was the extent of

my abilities at the time so so you were like the first person I'd ever met that had

made me living being funny. And it was very mind-blowing, yeah. And thrilled to have you both on. And apparently, and then Travis, you were saying
