Go to John, please, the 15th chapter.

John 15 has been our main text.

It says, Jesus said, I am the true vine.

And my father is the husbandman.

Every branch.

Somebody say every branch.

Every branch in me that bears not fruit, he takes away.

The father takes away.

I don't like the sound of that.

Tell me what the solution is.

Bear some fruit.

And every branch.

He says it again.

So you say it again.

Every branch.

Every branch that bears fruit, he purges it that it may bring forth more fruit.

Is the Lord interested in us bearing fruit?

He certainly is, and he has every right to.

He has invested so much into us. He's watered us. He's fed us. He's enlightened us. He's

enabled us. Invest, invest, invest, invest. Should he expect some kind of return out of us? Some kind of

results. Some kind of fruit. He absolutely expects. And if you're already producing fruit, what does he expect?

More, more, more fruit. And he has every right to. And do you have a desire to produce more?
