| 0:00.0 | Text today, coming from Luke chapter 18 and verse 1 through 8 in the New Living translation. |
| 0:11.3 | Notice there these words. |
| 0:14.4 | One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. |
| 0:26.6 | There was a judge in a certain city, he said, who neither feared God nor cared about people. |
| 0:35.6 | A widow of that city came to him repeatedly saying, |
| 0:40.1 | give me justice in this dispute with my enemy. And the judge ignored her for a while, |

| 1:05.2 | learn a lesson from this unjust judge. Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don't you think God |

| 1:31.2 | But when the son of man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith? |
| 1:39.9 | And we're talking today from the subject, |
| 1:43.0 | faithfulness precedes fruitfulness. |
| 1:46.7 | Faithfulness precedes fruitfulness. |
| 1:49.2 | You may be seated. |
| 1:52.4 | I do want you to understand in this parable that Jesus is sharing here. |
| 1:57.6 | Please understand that the unjust judge here is not a type of God. God would never use an analogy |
| 2:06.0 | where he is represented by somebody who is unjust. He says that the judge does not fear God, |
| 2:16.4 | neither has any regard for people. They don't care about people. But God is |
| 2:22.1 | teaching us a lesson here about persistence when the world is harsh to you and mean to you. |
