pro-Hamaz protesters on university campuses often display a profound ignorance of history and a propensity

for conspiracy theories, for example that the Jews are not

indigenous to the land or even from the Middle East. Even more unsettling, however, is how many have been quick to repeat the terrorist mantra of from the river to the sea

Palestine will be free. According to Berkeley professor Ron Hasner, a disturbingly

high percentage of these students lack even basic knowledge about what this genocidal cry even means.

They have no idea which river, which sea, or what that means for the Jews living in between.

In response, first things Rusty Reno wrote

that what came to his mind are these words, quote,

ignorance when it's voluntary is criminal,

and he may be properly charged with evil

who refused to learn how he might prevent it.

And then Reno says, all the more so, when the ignorant take up chance, that call for the annihilation of a nation.
