Summary

Congress is back in session following its summer recess. Although many used the time off to relax and recharge, lawmakers are picking up right where they left off. FOX News Senior Congressional Correspondent Chad Pergram summarizes FBI Director Christopher Wray's testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, where he defended his record after lawmakers accused the Bureau of conducting politically motivated investigations. Later Chad explains why Congresswoman Majorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was removed from the House Freedom Caucus and details Tuesday's Senate investigative subcommittee hearing regarding the PGA Tour's partnership with Saudi-backed LIV Golf. New Hampshire has only successfully produced one President, Franklin Pierce. However, the "Live Free or Die" state has made a name for itself as one of the most influential states in the Presidential primaries. New Hampshire state law dictates the primary should be held on the second Tuesday of March or at least seven days before any other primary in the country. However, this first-in-the-nation status is being challenged by the Democratic National Committee, whose proposed revamped calendar puts South Carolina at the front of the primary calendar. New Hampshire Secretary of State David Scanlan, weighs in on how the new schedule will affect New Hampshire's status as a battleground state and explains the DNC's reasoning for changing the calendar.
