Sunday, October 5th, 2025. I'm Jared Halpern. The Supreme Court is back in session this week with

major challenges to President Trump's power. We're going to know, usually by June or July of

26, how the Supreme Court decides on a lot of these cases, whether the Trump administration

next summer is going to have the seal of approval from the Supreme Court on doing what it is doing

is constitutional. And drug maker Pfizer agrees to drop prices for millions of patients in the U.S.

For decades, both sides of the aisle have tried to make a difference and failed because

it's incredibly difficult problem to solve.

And under President Trump's leadership, he created an environment and an opportunity where

we are actually lowering drug prices.

This is the Fox News Rundown from Washington.

Oh, yay, oh, yay, oh, yay.

All persons with business before the Supreme Court will start making their case tomorrow, the first day of the new term.

Though justices have been busy this summer deciding a slew of emergency appeals largely over challenges to executive orders and other questions about the length of presidential powers.

And those are the questions that the court will continue to wrestle with this term,

in cases over tariffs and the attempt to fire members of federal agencies and the Federal Reserve.

Fox Senior National correspondent Rich Edson and I spoke on Friday to preview the term ahead.

You have to remember in this interterm, Jared, you had the Supreme Court weigh in and reverse a lot of these nationwide injunctions.

And the White House was very celebratory of all the winds that they were racking up at the Supreme Court.

And while the conservative majority did reverse a lot of these nationwide

injunctions allowing a lot of these Trump administration policies to move forward, this was all

temporary. These were not decisions on the merits of the case. So you're going to have not only

that, but a large chunk of the Supreme Court's docket in this term,
