This week, as lawmakers came back to Washington, D.C. after a two week break, many had some questions about the leak from the prior week that revealed top secret and classified materials, much of it about Russia's worn Ukraine.

But some lawmakers feel frustrated with their efforts to get their hands on more information.

The briefing, I mean, we've gone even deeper than this briefing have. We've gotten very little.

Honestly, if I read the newspaper, I would know just about as much as I do today.

Senate Intelligence Committee ranking member, Republican Marco Rubio, said he's not in the rubber stamp business, and that they need a lot more information about the leak, the leaker, and the information he's accused of leaking.

He added this will come to a head.

When this country did not have congressional oversight over the intelligence agencies of this country, they did terrible things.

That's why this committee was set up in the 1970s.

We're not going back to a time where agencies operate without oversight and treat us on a need to no basis.

If they do, then we're going to have our fights over their authorizations, over laws they want passing, over money they want funded.
