vice president and the fraud task force as states are told to do more to cooperate with the federal

government in rooting out fraud. What was so interesting and unique is this recognition that we

must do a better job at

speak English, let alone read traffic signs. They're not familiar with our customs on the road. And it's created a very

After massive fraud was uncovered in Minnesota in child welfare programs, food assistance, and daycares, the federal government started a fraud task force.

Last week, Colin McDonald, the first assistant attorney general for the National Fraud Enforcement Division at the DOJ, announced the prosecution of 15 additional people for stealing $90 million in Minnesota.

Today's charges are unprecedented.

They include the highest loss amount ever charged in a Medicaid case in Minnesota

and the largest autism fraud scheme ever charged by the Department of Justice.

He said the Housing Stabilization Fund has now been completely shut down.

There's no money left in it to help the homeless find housing.

It was estimated in 2020 that it would cost only about $2.5 million a year to fund this program,

but it ended up costing almost 50 times that much over $104 million

by 2024 due to fraud. The federal government's begun freezing funds around the country

in blue states, including California, New York, and Illinois over suspicion of fraud, or due to a lack

of cooperation with the federal

government to investigate fraud. A federal court has blocked the freezing of certain funds, but

this past week, Vice President J.D. Vance, who heads the Federal Fraud Task Force said,
