0:51.5	Some U.S. cattle ranchers have a beef with President Trump and his plans to increase imports on beef raised in Argentina.
1:00.8	I mean, if you're trying to win, trying to focus on midterm elections that are coming up, I'm sure that'll be a good victory.

1:09.1	But I don't think that's a viable answer that's
1:12.2	going to help out consumers and ranchers. That's Trent Simmons, a Texas cattle rancher. You heard
1:17.6	earlier this week on the Fox News rundown. The president says importing beef from Argentina will
1:22.7	help boost supplies of ground beef for market prices eru up considerably over the past few years.
1:28.6	The U.S. Cattlemen's Association, the lobbying organization for the ranching industry,
1:33.8	says that's not because of market manipulation or inflation.
1:36.9	It's a cost correction, and cattle producers are finally earning prices that reflect the actual cost.
1:44.7	President Trump, in a social media post this week,
1:47.3	said cattle ranchers don't understand they're only doing well
1:50.0	because of tariffs he imposed, and it would be nice if they would understand that,
1:54.8	adding they have to get their prices down.
