Summary

0:23.6	But I can tell you in a far, far, far, far more important truth that we, the believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, must remind ourselves not only daily, but moment by moment, of who we are.
0:44.8	We have been learning throughout the series of messages from Romans that our salvation is a gift from God, that our justification is a gift of God, our redemption
0:59.6	is God's indescribable gift to every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.
1:07.2	Our adoption into the royal family of God is undeserved and unmerited.
1:15.5	But once we are adopted, once we have taken on this new family name,
1:22.5	once we have been robed with the robe of righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ, once we identified
1:30.3	as members of the royal family of King Jesus, once we are called princess and princesses,
1:38.3	once we've done that, we need to constantly remind ourselves on a moment-by-moment basis of who we are.
1:48.4	That we need to constantly remind ourselves how to live as royals.
1:56.2	We need to know how to behave as royals.
1:59.7	We need to understand how our lives must reflect that new family name.
2:05.6	We need to learn how to bring honor and not this honor to the king who graciously adopted us
2:13.3	as sons and daughters. Please listen to me. This living of the new identity in Christ is a process.
2:23.4	I want to repeat this. This living with new identity as members of the royal family of King Jesus
2:31.1	is a process. It is not an experience, and it is not once and for all. It is a
2:38.3	process, and it is a process that will never end until the day we see Jesus face to face.
2:45.8	It has to constantly move upward. It must constantly move forward every single day. And, beloved, this process
2:55.0	requires our deepest commitment and our full attention. While we have nothing to do, to deserve
3:05.5	our salvation, to deserve the grace of God, other than stretching out
3:10.9	our hands and receiving graciously. And thankfully, the process of our daily growing into Christ
