hell. Coming to you from Hellish Smoky Chicago, this is Hell.

The air quality in Chicago is currently abysmal.

I wish I could say that the cloud of smoke that's descended on the windy city was from a lightly gathering at office hours.

But alas, not even the esteemed

carries crew can produce this impressive

of a smoky plume.

Side note, no office hours until July 5th.

But alas, this plume blew in from farther afield.

The wildfires in Canada have my eyes burning and my allergies already bad this time a year going nuts.

What better way to spend a beautiful June day? Precious month of Chicago weather in our local calendar.

Then limiting my time outdoors to avoid breathing into campfire as much as possible.

At least when I choose to fill my lungs with my favorite medicine,

I can get nice and baked, lift my mood, help handle anxiety and

depression and take the edge off of this nice burning little world we've created for

ourselves. A deep-pocketed fuel are far more responsible for that state than most of us, but we're all connected through it.

I can only imagine how this climate change fueled mission is impacting the elderly

and vulnerable people in our community, but hey, I guess we're getting a

taste of what our friends in the American West experience every year for longer periods of time

and with greater frequency thanks to climate change making spring come earlier, fall come later.

And droughts grow far more frequent.
