This is for a classic episode of Stuff to Blow Your Mind from December of 2016.

It's our episode on euphemisms.

Yeah, this is a really, really neat one.

And if you haven't heard this episode, there's a lot more to it than you might think.

There's this drift that occurs.

So obviously a euphemism is rolled out initially as kind of like a replacement for a dirtier

word or a less proper word.

But then over time, the euphemism itself becomes the dirty word.

And new words have to be brought into replace it.

So there's a lot to unpack in this episode and I think everyone can relate to it.

How come O Cizzars never became super dirty?

Yes.

One that we use in my house so a lot.

And I forget who I stole this from or picked it up from is to just use the word cuss in

place of an actual cuss word.

So I'll talk to the boy about how it's just hot as a cuss out here.

Stuff like that, which is silly.
