Speaking of 12 and a half point spreads, the chiefs are laying that many points at home, Stephen,

against the Chicago Bears, who you and I have wanted so desperately to believe in.

Everyone knows this week, Justin Fields, coaching, blah, blah, blah, all the off-the-field stuff

that happened with the Bears. The vibes are all time. I don't know that vibes have been

worse with any teams since we've been doing this show than they are with the Bears right now.

I think I know where we're all going, but nevertheless, what are your thoughts?

You mentioned earlier during the SGP segment about the Bears' point totals going back to last

season, and Justin Fields said this week, amidst all the coaching stuff that he has to say

effort more and just make plays. I have to think that there's going to be some of that this week,

like there's going to be some more design runs, there's going to be some more outside the pocket

type of stuff for him, just to try to show that the offense has any kind of sign of life because

they've been awful through two weeks. Even so, the chiefs defense, which is kind of being

overlooked right now when you have the Cowboys, the Jets of 49ers all look like special defenses.

But the chiefs get Chris Jones back last week. He only plays half of the snaps, but on half of

the snaps, he was pressuring Trevor Lawrence like crazy, just absolutely dominating Rookie

Tackle Anton Harrison, and the chiefs defensive line looks good week one without him against

the Detroit Lions who have a really talented offensive line. So I'm buying into the chiefs defense,

and even if Justin Fields is saying effort more this week and making plays, I think that amounts
