mastermind head coach couldn't stop half of Alex Smith. Mark Schofield pointed this out on a

video breakdown on Twitter, and I'll

try to do justice to what he was talking about in an audio format. But this was just about

savvy manipulation for Matt Stafford throughout and also having the armed talent to back it up.

So the first touchdown, the 55-yard 1 to Marvin Hall, for example, he's got Kendall

Fuller, the cornerback for Washington, trying to read through the route

and to Stafford trying to get his eyes into the backfield.

Stafford knows this, sees this, takes advantage of this by giving the slight pump

fake little shoulder action.

Fuller bites, thinking that there's a comeback or other some type of intermediate route happening.

Hall is able to zoom right by. Fuller is a left grassbant straws. Easy rainbow for Stafford to

complete. Next touchdown, the 27-yard under Marvin Jones is a little more complex. So the Lions come

out with a bunch to the left. The football team is overloading the right side of the

line. Now, Stafford changes the protection. He puts a slide on to the right to deal with the
