I came up with five sort of categories I look at when I'm deciding how good a job is if I were a head coaching candidate. Will you humor me

and let me run through them? Let's do it. Okay. First thing is ownership. Like very simply,

bosses matter with owners and you have to, that's not something you can ignore. And it's a pretty

low bar for me. Like,

if you're willing to help me out, great, but really all I need from you as an owner is just

don't make my life any harder. Is that fair? Yeah, I think that's fair. And, um, I mean,

obviously you have to be kind of, you don't want to be like you know kind of dan snider here or or something you know

where the franchise is a total joke and look down upon uh you want to have at least some kind

of baseline level competency there absolutely we're on the same page number two most important

thing to look at quarterback it's the most important position in american sports you either have

one or you need one but regardless it's going to shape your entire tenure with that team.

So established quarterback, I would say, or like path to getting one.

Obviously, you know, like, let's say you have the number one overall pick.

Like that kind of thing matters.

100%.

Yeah, you don't have to have the guy, but like you said, you need to have a way to get

the guy if you don't have one. Number three, I look at your division. Almost 40% of your

schedule comes against divisional opponents, and you need to look at that when you're

considering which job to take. Yeah, especially if you're in a division, let's say, with the Kansas City Chiefs with Patrick Mahomes, or, you know, back in the day, Tom Brady and the AFC East.

Yeah, definitely relevant.
