Let's start with the aforementioned Philadelphia Eagles who were the only team in the NFC's

to secure the bag in week one defeating the Atlanta Falcons 32 to 6.

It was a strong debut for Devonte Smith, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner.

I thought I touched down.

In fact, we saw it touched John's from a lot of first round rookie wide receivers like

I said, we'll get to everything there.

Jalen Hertz was impressive in his, I can't call it a debut, but kind of true debut I suppose

about if you want to say Carson Wentz looking over him.

I think there was a lot of positives to take away from Philadelphia here.

I do wonder if it's a bit of a mirage.

I think Atlanta looked like one of the worst teams in the NFL.

I think we, you know, to be clear here, I have been higher on the Eagles than most of

the people here at the SB Nation NFL show.

I think they could finish as high as second in the NFC East and they look like a team that

can beat up on the bad teams, which is what they did.

This is something you're supposed to do.

If you have a chance to be a good team, so good for the Eagles, but the Falcons holy crap,

what a disaster.
