It's kind of weird right now in Kansas City, where this chief's team, I feel like we've

talked a ton about the NFC in this episode, and part of that is because the AFC is just

hard to make sense of, and who you truly believe is the best team, whether it's the

Patriots, the chiefs, and the Ravens are kind of fallen apart, the Titans are kind of

falling apart, and we just saw what the Patriots did to the bills on Monday night football.

The chiefs have made an insane, impressive term, whatever you want to call it, defensively

over the last half of the season.

And a lot of that is Steve Spagnolo finally admitting, all right, I can't put Dan Sorenson

in for 95% of the snaps anymore.

I can't put Ben Nieman in for 75% of the snaps anymore.

I got to get Willie Gay Jr. on the field.

I got to get Nick Bolton on the field.

I got to put Juan Thornhill on the field.

And that's really unlocked the chiefs defense.

Now they brought in Melvin Ingram, who has been a massive, massive addition because Chris

Jones is back inside almost full time now, looking like the game record that he's always

been.

And all of a sudden, like the chiefs have won five in a row, but they've done it defensively

for the most part.
