trading for Jared Goff.

Of course, none of these things officially final until the new league year begins, which is why

when Dan Campbell does radio interviews, he can't even talk about Jared Goff because it's

not like we're all adults here, but whatever.

Pete, the Detroit Lions, according to ESPN's Adam Schaefter, the Goat, have reportedly had discussions with other teams about another quarterback.

Backup quarterback Chase Daniel, your friend.

Why would anybody trade for Chase Daniel?

Shepty hyped this up as like teams valuing the mentorship that he provides that didn't really help with Carson Wentz.

So, I mean, I don't know what, I'm like, in what universe is a team trading for a mentor?

You know what I mean?

I'm with you.

It's a little strange.

And I just, I look at Chase Daniel and obviously ties to the state of Missouri.

He went to Missou and a lot of people consider him the greatest Missouri quarterback of all time. The Drew

Lock disrespect will not stand. And he came out. He was an undrafted guy. He's bounced around

from several different teams. We joke because he was here in Kansas City behind Alex Smith. We

joke that he is the ultimate finesse

player. If you look at some of these contracts that Chase Daniel has signed, 2016, three years for

$21 million. You have in 2018 contract for two years and $10 million with the Bears, the Lions
