Hello and welcome to the Seahawkers podcast from the Podium Edition.

I'm your host, Brandon Schultz.

It was a disappointing loss to the 49ers in the wildcard round for the Seahawks.

And I know it's tough to hit play on an episode like this,

having to go back and relive some of it. But I think one of the important things about it is

that you get to hear the passion and how much the players and coaches really feel some of that

disappointment the way maybe some fans do too. So I want to start off with some of the reflections from Pete Carroll on the game, on the season.

Let's hear from our head coach.

This was a really frustrating day for us in that we really had a shot putting this game on our end of it.

And we could have done it today.

And it's a fantastic second quarter for us and end of the

second quarter to get us a head, great kick, down 10 nothing, you know, in the road, they're going

crazy and all that, and the guys just bounced right back into it, put us ahead by the time we were done

at halftime. And we felt great about it. We really felt like we had done some things we could

fix and we could play a better

second half and we go through the third quarters, 2317, you know, and it's there, it's

there to be had.

And so they did some really good stuff.

They got good players, a good team and all that and give them all the credit

and i thought cow did a fantastic job but uh we had our shot and uh so um the suddenness of this

finish is this what's what's so striking right now you know that we all of a sudden you're done

we weren't thinking that way and we were thinking something was good, was going to happen.
