Summary

In addition to celebrating a 48-45 victory, the Seahawks were able to celebrate an addition to the Meyers family after the game. Rashaad Penny was a big factor in the win over the Lions after running for a touchdown on a 3rd and 16 and going over 150 yards on the day. DK Metcalf also had a big day and clarified his comments from before the game regarding the Detroit cornerback he faced off against. Quandre Diggs had a chance to reflect on his return to the city where he started his NFL career. Finally, Pete Carroll talked about a couple players on Monday who we can expect to see getting more snaps in the weeks ahead.

0:15.9	And it was an exciting 48 to 45 victory for the Seahawks on Sunday. Let's start things off by hearing from
0:23.4	our head coach, Pete Carroll and his initial reflections. Well, this was a much, much needed win for us.
0:30.3	Really excited about the way we played on the road again, getting out here and doing it. Right from the
0:36.2	beginning, we were going. and this was the day that
0:40.7	the offense was such a highlight in the day and they scored the first four times we had the
0:46.3	ball we were executing we were knocking out third downs we were wound up running a football

1:01.8	Not just the throwing in the catching, but the command of the game and running the whole show.

1:09.8	I don't know how you could do a whole lot more and play a whole lot better than that. D.K. had a great game, making plays and catches. He didn't get in the end zone, but he was moving the football up and down the field. Tyler did his stuff. Really excited to see Penny break out. So all of that has to happen because the guys up front did a great job. We had no sacks today. We rushed for 2.30 something. Those guys did a great job. And really proud of the way they played. And we're hopefully keeping progress. That's a lot of points for us. And really we stopped ourselves when it was our problem today a couple times and couldn't
1:44.8	overcome a couple things but other than that it was a great day on the other side of the
1:47.7	ball we didn't do well we gave up a 10 or 11 explosive plays and on a day when the
1:53.5	offense had 14 we we give up like 10 or something like that and and there's just too many
1:58.0	too many chunk yards been the crazy 80 yardyard play and a couple others that they had.

2:04.6	And it wasn't a bad down, third down, necessarily, but it was just explosives.
