Hello, welcome back into the podcast that we like to call from the podium where you hear

directly from your Kansas City Chiefs.

I'm host and audio producer of the Arrowhead Pride Podcast Network, Steven Serta.

The pads went on on Monday up in St. Joseph, Missouri.

We heard from head coach Andy Reed, tight end Travis Kelsey, defensive end, Mike Dana,

as well as linebacker Elijah Lee.

We'll go in that order, starting with Andy Reed, followed by Travis Kelsey.

After that, we'll take a quick time out when we get back.

We'll hear from Mike Dana and Elijah Lee.

As far as injuries go, Jody Forts is the only one that we didn't have time to update John.

He's got a quad strain.

He doesn't look too bad at all.

He's swinging right back into it and I think it'll be a few days and getting back out

there.

Other than that, it's the same guys that you I mentioned before.

Everybody practice today, had a good day.

Stand pads, warm, a little shorter practice by league rules and so part of the ramp up

period now for pads, same type of thing that we had when the guys first came in without

the pads.

But they worked their tail off and I thought it was a good competition between both sides.
