Hello and welcome back into the podcast that we like to call from the podium where you hear directly from your Kansas City Chiefs.

I'm host and audio producer of the Arrowhead Pride Podcast Network, Steve Inserta.

Chiefs are getting prepared for Monday night football at Arrowhead Stadium against the New York Giants.

They returned to the practice field on Thursday and we heard from head coach Andy Reed quarterback Patrick Mahomes, as well as offensive guard Tray Smith in defensive and Alex Okafore.

We'll go in that order starting with Andy Reed followed by Patrick Mahomes and we'll take a quick time out when we get back you'll hear from Tray Smith and Alex Okafore. Here's Andy Reed.

Chris Jones is out for personal reasons and then Anthony Hitchens will practice today.

Again, one of the tricep contusion and then Colin Sanders knee swole up after the game.

He won't practice but it looks like he's doing pretty good here.

Look for the challenge of playing the Giants.

Again, know they're a good football team and well coach so we'll have to make sure we have a good week of practice starting today and that's what we're going to focus in on.

So we've got plenty to work on and we're going to attack that starting today.
