Welcome back into the podcast that we like to call from the podium where you hear

directly from your Kansas City Chiefs. I'm host and audio producer of the Our Head Pride

Podcast Network, Steve Insard. On Friday, rookies and quarterbacks reported to St. Joseph,

Missouri to get underway at Chiefs training camp. We are officially here. Veterans are not in

the building yet. Just rookies and quarterbacks, but on Friday, we heard from head coach Andy Reed,

quarterback Patrick Mahomes, wide receiver Skymore, and cornerback Trent McDuffee. We'll go in that

order, starting with Andy Reed, followed by Patrick Mahomes. After that, we'll take a quick

time out when we get back. We'll hear from Skymore and Trent McDuffee. Here's Andy Reed.

We've got a couple of things just for you. I want to knock out. Resard Fenton has shoulder surgery.

Lucas Yang had knee surgery. These guys will be up here, but they won't, they won't be practicing.

And then Ross, also Justin Ross had foot surgery. So he won't be practicing either. So

everybody else is good to go. Everybody else is back and rolling. So we're in good shape.

Great to be back at Missouri-Western State University. Just very excited to get things going.

We have some new players on the team, which makes it exciting. It's not that same group that's

been here probably the last three, four years. There's been a nice influx of really good football

players that we look forward to seeing as things heat up here, not literally, but very warm here.

I know for you, but as things heat up and the season gets a little closer.
