Steve and Sarda. On Wednesday, the Chiefs return to the practice field ahead of a Week 18 matchup against the Los Angeles

Chargers. As we all expected, Andy Reed confirmed, we can expect several starters to sit in the Chiefs

Week 18 matchup, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

So Thursday we heard from head coach Andy Reed, quarterback Blaine Gabert and Safety Mike Edwards.

We'll go in that order starting with chiefs head coach followed by backup

quarterback playing gabbert then we'll take quick time out when we get back

we'll wrap things up with safety Mike Edwards here's Andy Reed has a growing

spasm he won't practice pacheco with quad contusion and then Rachee's got a little bit of a hamstring

that he tweaked in the game and then

Lagerius with the calf will give him time let that heel through there.

Look forward the challenge of playing the chargers, You know, Giff has been put in that position as a head coach.

The guys are playing hard for them and you know that's a we've got a good week of preparation.

I'm gonna go ahead and Pat won't play so

Blaine will take over at that spot and then we'll rotate the other guys in as we go so but we

look for the challenge of getting ready and we got to make sure that we have a good

week of preparation.
