Hello and welcome to Words Matter from the DSR Network.

Each week Norm Ornstein and I will talk about the issues facing our country.

As we are heading into another election cycle coming out of the midterms and what our

leaders are saying and doing, or not saying about them.

Today we want to talk about a wide range of topics on our last podcast that seems like

we were hanging on the edge of our seats, just a joke, waiting for a speaker after rounds

and rounds.

We have one, Kevin McCarthy.

So we thought we would devote this episode in our public time to the actual business

of Congress.

Now that they have a speaker and that we've got some leadership in place.

So we want to cover that.

And then Norm and I, we were thinking that in our members only section, we could talk

about something that I think a lot of folks in both of our circles I imagine, Norm, you

tell me you have been speaking about around what's emerged from a special council being

appointed for the Biden papers and the investigation that is pursuant to that.

And some of the other ripple effects that the recent headlines around documents found

in various locations, but some sensitive, some not have unearthed for both Democrats

and Republicans.
