We're right here right now recording early Tuesday afternoon and your 2021 Philadelphia Eagles are going back to the playoffs, baby!

After the disaster that was the 2020 season, after this hectic off season, after all the questions around Jalen Hertz and Nick Seriani and their early season struggles,

the Eagles have gone on this improbable run and are now playing meaningful January football.

They played so well, they clinched a playoff spot before the last week of the season.

Imagine saying that before the year.

Yeah, I predicted them to go to the playoffs or one of the division right before the Feeding Green Nation website.

We're on the From the Bleachers podcast here on the Great BGM Radio Network, but I'm an optimist before this season.

I'm that type of Eagles fan. I'm the type that's going to believe.

Suspend Mike disbelief for as long as possible.

Get me to December, get me to January and this Eagles team did it.

This is the strangest Eagles team I've seen in my two plus decades as a fan.

And the line between strange and weird and annoying and just makes you want to pull your hair out is a really fine line.

This team is endearing. They even dear themselves to me.

Now I'll be looked back on as this thing that changed the entire trajectory of this Eagle season.

And perhaps perhaps changed the trajectory of this Eagles franchise for the next handful of years.

I can't believe it. This is awesome. This is really awesome.

We deserve it. Anyone who listens to this podcast, anyone who loves the Eagles deserves this playoff run.
