Now, recording this, a jewellery Tuesday morning in South Philadelphia, weather is channeling

the emotions of Philadelphia Eagles fans and really Philadelphia sports fans in general.

I go to the Eagles game on Sunday, a nice day, a little chilly in the morning but it felt

good on the subway ride down in the game, getting the parking lot feels good, gets a little

sunny but not too sunny where I'm hot and sweaty mess, kept my expectations low, I said

to myself, just need the offense to show a pulse, probably going to get smashed, double

digit loss but just don't look like a complete embarrassment and I'll be okay and what do

we know?

What happens?

I went in with zero expectations and somehow left disheartened.

It felt as if the Eagles continuously left points on the board.

I think I saw this stat just now on Twitter from 975's Jamie Lynch.

The Eagles are, I believe, 8th in the arts premium NFL but 19th in scoring.
