I started researching my book, which is called Go Back to Where You Came From,

in the middle of the 2015 refugee crisis.

And at the time, you had hundreds of thousands of refugees, mainly Serians,

arriving in Europe, fleeing war and other threats in their homelands.

And suddenly, a number of far-right parties across Europe

started to see a real boost in the polls.

And what they did is react to the refugee crisis, not with compassion,

or any sort of understanding or sensitivity.
