Summary

Hello beloveds and welcome back to You're So Right! Caitlin kicks things off by sharing a list of thoughts and grievances that...checks notes....literally no one asked for! The girls talk playing sweat whackamole, the importance of raising women that Pete Hesgeth would dislike, why reality stars are our strongest soldiers, and that moment we all decide we have simply HAD ENOUGH with our periods. Caitlin also shares her most iconic lore involving kimonos and Japanese school children, and Rachael introduces an unexpected segue of "have you been tracking this thing hurtling towards earth?" They also give a final Ping Girl Update, read listener submissions of their signs and pings, and discuss why a cookie may be making Caitlin's biggest life decision yet. Don't forget to rate and review!!! We love them!!! Listening feels like a wine night with your smartest, funniest girlfriends who just also get the chaos of motherhood.

0:37.0

Wow, I love that. I love that. And I also loved

0:39.9

the review that was like, it gives so much and it also gives nothing. That's us, baby.

0:45.9

We love you. We love you, Belle. We love you, Lauren. Keep them coming. We love all of you.

0:50.1

How are you? Oh, Rachel, thank you for asking. I'm not well. You know, generally, like, that's just an umbrella.

0:55.1

But this morning was very, very hectic.

0:58.0

And it started because my daughter woke up at 4.56 this morning and screamed for an hour, mama.

1:07.7

Why?

1:08.3

And we're, so we're trying to not bring her into the bed in the morning because

1:16.5

she won't fall back asleep. And then she's moving around and then no one's falling asleep.

1:21.1

And I also feel like she is, when she wakes up at 5 a.m., she wants to be in the bed, so then she doesn't try to go back to

1:29.0

sleep. So she's still in a crib in my room because I forgot that I was supposed to, quote,

1:34.7

unquote, move her and, you know, then time progressed and whatever. I'm lazy. So anyways,

1:38.6

she's in there and she's screaming mama and I'm like, it's okay from the bed because I don't want to get up. Right. It's four. It's four. And then she just doesn't. And it's like if I got her up anyway, she wouldn't fall asleep either. Right. And then when is it at, you know, anyway. So, okay, so that happened. It's just a mess. And then I wasn't anticipating recording and I'm just... I know. We're recording quite early today.

2:02.9

Quite early. But I'm proud of you for getting through that hardship. Thank you so much. How are you?

2:08.9

I'm okay. I am also tired. I could not sleep at all last night. Yeah. Well, you had a big 24 hours.

2:14.6

Yeah. I just went to Austin for an interview, a podcast, on a podcast. And it was my first

2:22.3

ever, like, legit in-person studio podcast. Yeah, because this is not legit. No, we're not,

2:29.7

that's not what you're getting here. I'm close. But so, of course, like, after you get interviewed,

2:33.7

you just ruminate on everything you should have said differently, everything you could have said. Yeah. And you just convinced yourself that you sounded like a total idiot the entire time, so I couldn't sleep at all because I was just thinking about that over and over and over. I'm sure you were fantastic. You know, we'll see. Editing is a beautiful thing. So hopefully it'll all be
